Access by car
Our private exhibition is located beyond Gyöngyösoroszi, in the direction of the Károlytáró, 9 km from Gyöngyös. ATTENTION! THE APPROACH TO THE EXHIBITION IS NOT THROUGH GÖNGYÖSSOLYMOS! The Google map often misleads visitors with a very bad dirt road, which is impassable at the end and closed with a barrier, don’t go on it!
From Gyöngyös, follow the signs to Szürdokpüspöki and/or Gyöngyöspata! On the road towards Szurdokpüspöki, leaving the Gyöngyös sign, you can clearly see the Gyöngyös Zoo and the „Mineral Exhibition 9km” sign on the right. At the zoo, turn right towards Gyöngyösoroszi.
Reaching Gyöngyösorosi, the main road turns left. Continue your journey through the village, leaving the village hall on the right, and later the Catholic church on the left. Leaving Gyöngyösoroszi, the road continues upwards, leaving the former ore processing plant on the left (further to the right at the Y fork), then the water catchment. The road leads to us winding, bordered by forests and hills, while the Toka stream gurgles on the right and on the left. The picturesque environment offers so much beauty and uniqueness in every season, whether it’s a hike or a car trip. At the ninth kilometer, on the left side of the road, there is the yellow building of the Ásványok Háza.

Free parking is possible in our yard, in designated parking spaces. We currently have a disabled parking lot. We also have enough space for a bus.
Accessibility
Wheelchairs and strollers can comfortably access the foyer and the exhibition space. We currently do not have a disabled toilet.

Access by public transport
By train
You can get to Gyöngyös by train, from there you have to change to a bus. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station to the bus station.
UPDATE: The Mátra InterRégió train departs every hour as a direct service between Gyöngyös and Budapest. Details on the MÁV website.
By Bus
An intercity bus service to the museum departs from Gyöngyös bus station in the direction of Gyöngyösoroszi-Károlytáró (mostly from bus stop 7 or 15). For the detailed schedule, visit menetrendek.hu . There is no bus stop at the museum, you have to ask the bus driver to stop in front of the exhibition, you have to ask for the ticket to the Ércbánya. The Ércbánya stop is 500 meters away, an 8-minute walk from the exhibition.
